VENQUITY’s team is on its way to incorporate a civil association of legal entities  for the purpose of participation in tenders, public private partnerships, public procurement and concessions for road and railway construction, dam walls erection, coast fortification, etc.. The Union is called “Advanced Infrastructure Projects” and is compound from experienced builders, engineers, concessionaires, lawyers, insurers, financiers, technologists and managers. Our mission is to implement in the most efficient, cheapest and fastest manner of realization of infrastructure projects through European Programmes and BOT, BOO and BOOT  models.

VENQUITY’s team started negotiations for a project to incorporate and develop by common effort a company for construction of a crude oil processing installation. Another initiative is a project for a cogeneration energy system on an already prepared site as well as a project for construction of a combined cycle gas fired power plant of two units that amounts according to preliminary calculations 120 mln euro. Due to the global green and recycling motion our team has also focused on the development of a Plant for reprocessing of solid waste and electricity generation station on the territory of Bulgaria.

Car batteries demontage

VENQUITY Progressive Capital AD began a research on possibilities to realize a project for dismantling used car batteries on the territory of Bulgaria and selling the lead and plastic as commodities in the world markets. The idea is a result of the global green motion and  comprises of:

  • receiving the used car batteries already emptied from the acid;
  • cutting the top and poles of the batteries by special equipment;
  • removing the parts, collecting, packing and sending for recycling and sale.

The idea is to purchase an existing and already working Power Plant with a small capacity and to develop further extention of the operating capacity. The Project is an ongoing business enterprise with an experienced management and existing cash flow.

Wind farm to be developed

VENQUITY’s almost accomplished a project for the construction of 6 wind generators each with capacity of 2MW on the territory of South-West Bulgaria. The project includes a further extension of the capacity opportunity with at least 50MW in the same region. Due to the constant air streams and the non-forest relief the region is a perfect location for wind farming. A preliminary research with professional software and a 60m high mast was made and the measured average annual wind speed was 6.3m/s.  The construction works shall finish in 5-6 months and the generators shall work on full capacity by the end of 2009.

Waste to energy power plant

VENQUITY’s management started negotiations on a partnership for construction of a waste to energy power plant in Bulgaria. The offered technology is projected as a mass burn combustor capable of combusting
residential, commercial, and light industrial wastes. The idea represents a nonpolution recycling process that allows energy generation – something unknown for Bulgaria until now.

VENQUITY began work on another project for construction of a combined gas fired power plant. The proposed site in Northeastern Bulgaria has an operating Thermo-electric Power Plant (TPP). The overall site of the power plant occupies a land area of 58 568sq.m in the city of Ruse. There is completely accomplished infrastructure, water-supply station, roads, landings and a temporary gas and electric supply station. A huge advantage of the site is its location which reveals a great supply and distribution opportunity through water transportation.

The project’s competitive edge concerns the new state-of-the-art technology for processing and milling of sprouted crops as its nutritive characteristics are not damaged. The production technology involves bread production directly from whole sprouted grain without milling into flour. This technology is based on own-developed specific machinery, equipment and know-how for production of whole-wheat sprouted-grain bread. The input grain is projected to be delivered from ecologically clean regions in Bulgaria in which the soil is not treated with different chemicals and pesticides. The technology could be used for production of bread from different crops such as rye, rice, corn and mixture of 6 to 9 crops (soy-bean, beans, lentils, barley, oats, millet, etc.).   The further diversification of the product mix gives the project company the opportunity to develop different kinds of pastry made from sprouted crops.
The project will be developed in regional scale. Its primary objective is to meet the market need for full-grainy foodstuffs (bread and paste products) on the regional market and partly on the Balkan Peninsula. The present project envisages the construction of new or reconstruction of already existing buildings into contemporary bakeries that will meet the requirements of the international standards for the food and beverage industry – CE and HACCP (ISO 22000: 2005). For the realization of the project are needed two bakeries located respectively in Western Bulgaria (near Sofia) and in Eastern Bulgaria (near Sliven).

Combined cycle gas fired power plant

VENQUITY Progressive Capital AD began a feasibility study of a project for construction of a combined cycle gas fired power plant of two units of 128-140 MW each. The construction of the Thermo-electric Power Plant started a few years ago and was interrupted in 1990. The overall site of the power plant occupies a land area of 380 134sqm. All buildings are at a different construction stage. There is partly accomplished infrastructure, water-supply station, roads, landings and a temporary electric supply station.  The Investment Plan covers the expected economical performance related to the following combined enterprises:

  • Delivery, construction and commissioning the new gas fired turbines as in total 128 MW nominal power;
  • Capital investment of the new gas fired power plant based on modern gas fired unit;
  • Operation and maintenance of the new 128 MW power plant units on competitive market conditions;
  • At a future second stage  the new 128 MW power plant units will be developed on the north-east part of the premises, depending on finance and market conditions in early 2011.
